"Skeleton Knight in Another World" (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) is a Japanese anime series in the isekai genre, adapted from the light novel by Enki Hakkari. One day, an ordinary gamer wakes up in a game world as a skeleton avatar named Ark, equipped with powerful weapons and armor. Trying to adapt to the new world, Ark meets the elven warrior Arian, and together they embark on a perilous journey.
The tone is light, adventurous, with elements of comedy and fantasy action. The series does not shy away from absurdity: the skeleton hero tries not to scare those around him, but his appearance constantly creates awkward situations. The atmosphere is reminiscent of classic isekai adventures, where the main character is a cheater with maximum level but a kind heart.
The format consists of 12 episodes of ~24 minutes in the first season. The animation is produced by Studio KAI and HORNETS. The characters are designed by Tooru Imanishi, and the music is composed by eba and Tsubasa Ito. A second season has been announced.
