Tony Basgalop provides such an opportunity with the new TV series "Consultant".
What is the series Consultant about?
A young but rapidly developing company creates one of the most in-demand products of modernity – mobile games. In the dominance of mobile devices, some of which are much more powerful than personal computers were just ten years ago, they are always present with a person. But it is human nature to seek entertainment, and thus games are given the green light.
Everything was going well until the CEO of CompWare was murdered in his own office. The shock for the company was not only emotional but also economic – the firm found itself on the brink of bankruptcy. What to do? How to save the projects? A fairly common solution is to hire a consulting firm to manage during the crisis period.
At first, no one was surprised by the oddities. So what if the manager is a bit eccentric? So what if his smile is strange, never reaching his eyes? A new broom sweeps clean, and Mr. Patoff's innovations are quite understandable and logical. But as time goes on, the screws tighten more and more for the employees. Surveillance cameras were installed, supposedly for more accurate management of employees' working hours. And it gets worse. Leaving the office during lunch breaks is prohibited, regardless of the employees' desires.
Unscheduled calls in the middle of the night, Patoff showing up at some employees' homes, not only during non-working hours but also during off-hours, that is, at night. Strange questions, strange actions, and increasingly serious tightening of the screws. Over time, the team could not withstand it, starting to resist, but soon they begin to realize that their struggle for the company's viability is turning into something else. A fight for their own lives.
