A man's life consists of many small things that must be done to ensure the comfort of his loved ones. To provide for his wife and children, he goes to work, loses his time that he could spend with his family, and even denies himself small male pleasures, such as going to a bar or fishing with friends. Torn between family and work, a man often simply forgets about himself, paying little attention to his appearance or rest.
What is the series Fleishman Is in Trouble about?
Toby Fleishman was married for a decade and a half. His long-studied wife, who gave him two children, took care of the household, raised the kids, and monitored his well-being. In return, Toby worked honestly and diligently, bringing his salary home and climbing the career ladder for the sake of his family's well-being. But at one not-so-great moment, his wife demanded a divorce. Without explaining her reasons, without organizing the typical scandals of this process, she simply packed her things and left. That's it.
The hero is faced with the acute question of having a female companion nearby, as his job consumes all his time. And, to be honest, physiological needs are not something to be ignored, especially for a doctor like him. The hero immerses himself in a trendy social network designed specifically for finding partners to satisfy physical needs.
Things get complicated with an unexpected twist from his ex-wife, who simply dumped both kids on Toby. Now Fleishman must balance between the children, a looming promotion at work, and all the girls in Manhattan eager for a date. A whole new world has opened up for the main character, but how to find time for all this? It's not just that there are only 24 hours in a day, but that each of these issues needs to be resolved simultaneously while being in different places...
