Silo

Premiere on Apple TV+ took place on May 5, 2023 — the first two episodes, then weekly. "Silo" (Silo) is an American sci-fi mystery series created by Graham Yost based on the eponymous series of novels by Hugh Howey. The action unfolds in the near future: 10,000 survivors live in a giant bunker 144 stories deep. They believe that the world outside is dead, the air is poisoned, and going to the surface is fatal. All information comes through huge screens broadcasting a gray, lifeless landscape. But when Sheriff Juliette starts asking questions about her lover's death, she discovers that the truth about the bunker and the world outside may be scarier than any lie.
The tone is claustrophobic, tense, with elements of a political thriller. The series slowly unravels layers of mystery: each floor of the bunker is a separate social class, and information control is the main tool of power. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette with restrained but powerful energy, while Ashley Zukerman adds mystery in the role of Bernard, the head of IT.
