Ollie Lost

The turning point between childhood and adulthood is complex and painful. People often keep souvenirs and some memories of childhood, including not wanting to part with their favorite toys. But time takes its toll, turning sweet and innocent children into mature men and women, smiling as they watch a new generation, their children, and then grandchildren, play.
What is the series Ollie Lost about?
Ollie is a small toy rabbit, sewn from patches of fabric and filled with either cotton or foam. After terrifying events, he comes to in a thrift store, which also sells toys. But how he ended up there is a complete mystery to him. All he remembers is sitting in his child Billy's backpack, being snatched by a peer's hand from the backpack, and then a long flight into the water.

But leaving his child is not something a toy should do. After all, he was with Billy for quite a while and felt similar emotions towards him. The journey is not short, as he has been taken who knows where, but it must be overcome. Here, in the shop, he meets like-minded friends – Zoso the Clown, dressed in an old jacket, and his assistant, a pink plush bear, waving his swords like a true samurai.
The road, as mentioned above, is not short and full of dangers for simple toys. There’s the lack of any finances to buy tickets, meaning he’ll have to travel as a stowaway, and there are plenty of dogs ready to tear the toy apart in their games, which would put an end to all attempts to get home. But there is determination, and there is a destination, so Ollie will surely reach Billy.

Ollie is a soft toy in the shape of a rabbit, sewn from patches of fabric. After losing his child, he strives with all his might to return to him, regardless of distance and obstacles. The character is voiced by Jonathan Groff.
Billy is a little boy who lost his toy in a school scuffle. He tries to find it by all available means while also trying to restore the former love between his parents. The role is played by Kessler Talbot.

Zoso is a toy clown dressed in an old and worn jacket. He joins Ollie on his journey, giving advice and helping along the way. The character is voiced by Tim Blake Nelson.
Rosie is a plush bear of strange colors and equally strange abilities. A lightning bolt instead of a left eye hints at a superhero origin, which she demonstrates with enviable frequency. The character is voiced by Mary Jane Blige.

Ollie Lost Season 2 – who is who?
The series is made in a mini-format, and such works rarely get a continuation. However, if it does happen, the release of Season 2 of the series "Ollie Lost" should be expected no earlier than autumn 2023.

The film is based on the book by William Joyce "Ollie's Odyssey," published in 2016.
The mini-series premiered on Netflix on August 24, 2022.
