Series plot
The series revolves around the rich Shalimov family, who have amassed a huge fortune and are now true oligarchs. The business-minded parents had a son whom they dreamed of marrying off to a girl from a good and wealthy family. However, Dmitry did not believe in marriage of convenience, and his heart was taken by Yulia – an ordinary girl from the countryside. The elder Shalimovs were against this union, as they considered the provincial girl beneath them and suspected her of selfish motives. Dima's parents managed to get their way, forcing Yulia to return to her city. The girl was very proud, so she did not confess to anyone that she was carrying a child from her beloved.

Dima could not come to terms with this turn of events, so he abandoned everything and went in search of Yulia. After the young man left his parents' home, the Shalimov family was informed that he had tragically died in a car accident. His mother, struck by grief, died a year later from an illness that arose after hearing the news of her only son's death. Dima's father was also terminally ill and understood that he had very little time left. He learns that Yulia was pregnant with his son and realizes that this is his chance for the Shalimov lineage to continue. The head of the family decides to pass on his entire empire to his grandson, but the problem is that he knows nothing about the heir and does not even know whether Dima had a son or a daughter. He asks his daughter, who has long been living in England, to come and find the child.

Dmitry – the son of the Shalimovs, who dies in a car accident while searching for his beloved girl, who left because of his parents' actions.
Yulia – Mitya's mother, who had a relationship with Dima but was forced to end it due to the pressure from the elder Shalimovs. She also dies, which becomes known only after Tatiana searches for her nephew.
Tatiana – the daughter of the Shalimovs, who lived in the United Kingdom. She came at her father's request, who tasked her with finding Dima's child, whom he wanted to make the heir to his empire.
Yuri – the head of the Shalimov family, who realizes that he made a very big mistake by driving Yulia away. Now he is trying to correct this and find his grandson.
