Deciding which movie to watch can sometimes be quite difficult. After all, cinema delights us with new releases in various genres. And many of them truly deserve attention. For example, the series Mom Season 7 has caught attention, with its release date set for Fall 2019. Now we just have to wait for this wonderful film.
Series Plot
Christy learned from her own experience what it’s like to hit rock bottom. In the past, she struggled with drug addiction, which made it difficult for her to overcome this dependency for a long time. Additionally, she later fell in with a bad crowd and even developed a drinking problem. Each day, the situation worsened. After all, the heroine needed to raise her daughter. Having so many dependencies prevented her from fully feeling like a mother.
And one fine day, she decided to drastically change her life. The woman moved to another city, got a job as a waitress, and even signed up for anonymous meetings designed to help alcoholics. After all, alcoholism was her main problem. Moreover, she needed to somehow help her daughter. The latter had exactly repeated her fate. Violet also had her first child when she was just 16. Christy vividly remembered how difficult it was to raise a baby on her own when she still felt like a child herself.
The only thing that brought joy was the father of the baby wanting to take an active role in his life. The guy with whom the heroine's daughter had been dating for a long time turned out to be a decent person. Upon learning that he would soon become a father, he didn’t even try to avoid responsibility. Quite the opposite, the young man readily declared that he would definitely take care of his child and support his beloved woman. However, he was also a teenager. Therefore, serious help from him was not to be expected.
And since the woman had already gone through this nightmare, she was eager to help her daughter. However, she did this from a position that was completely incomprehensible to Violet. After all, her mother, who had never been a saint, suddenly began to demand a lot from her. The situation became even more complicated with the arrival of Bonnie – Violet's grandmother. She also suffered from alcohol dependency and now, upon learning that she had become a great-grandmother, decided to participate in raising the newborn family member.
Main Characters
Christy – a single mother who raised two children without a husband. She struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for a long time. Given the chance to start life anew, she decided to take it. She is trying her best to find common ground with her daughter.
Bonnie – the heroine's mother. She had serious health issues due to drug use. Quite cynical, but at the same time loves her relatives. She tries her best to mend her relationships with them.
Violet – a teenage girl who found out she was pregnant at 16. She decided to give birth and had no idea how difficult it would be for her in the future. She cannot rely on her mother yet, as she simply does not trust her.
Marjorie – oversees the recovery process of Christy and Bonnie. She also suffered from similar ailments in the past but found the strength to overcome them.
