For a good detective, mere investigation of crimes is not enough. Each of the great writers, starting a series about any "Great Detective," imparts certain traits to him, which he must adhere to throughout the parts of the work. But simply investigating, even in an original way, will bore the seasoned viewer, so elements of drama, comedy, and other genres interesting to the general public are added.
What is the series Balabol about?
Sanya Balabin is a real headache for his superiors. Impudent, self-confident, brazen, he can find a thousand counterarguments for every remark. His methods of conducting criminal investigations shock both his colleagues and the ordinary people he encounters during his work. Constantly risking his life, he is capable of opening fire with his service weapon right in the middle of the city.
He has long been threatened with dismissal, but he seems to feel that he won't be fired. After all, how can you dismiss such an employee? His crime-solving rate is not just the highest; it approaches absolute value, so they tolerate his antics, waiting for his mistakes. They throw unwanted interns at him, knowing that even from the most unreliable and hopeless candidate, he will, by his example or anti-example, raise a true wolf.
Alongside the investigation, Balabol, as one might guess from his surname, also decides personal relationship problems. He has a daughter who desperately wants to win her father's love. He has a wife, whose love he is trying to win back. There is his wife's suitor, from whom he is trying to reclaim his own wife. There is a new partner, a very young guy just out of university, who suddenly started a relationship with his daughter. And all this mix is served to us in an excellent fast-paced comedy.
