It should be noted right away that this project has very little chance of continuation. Since its ratings turned out to be too low. Therefore, the directors had to close the show even before its official ending. Consequently, there is no need to expect that Parents season 2 will be announced, nor its release date.
Plot of the series
At the center of the plot is an average family from Russia. Maria and Alexander are spouses and happy parents of three wonderful sons. From the outside, it seems that their family is simply perfect. After all, the spouses try not to air their dirty laundry in public and never tell outsiders about their problems. However, this does not mean at all that their life is really that ideal. Because in reality, everything is far from as rosy as those around them imagine.

Raising three boys is not easy at all. The eldest son is already 16 years old and now he is increasingly in conflict with his relatives. The reason for the conflicts is simple to the point of impossibility – the young man considers himself an adult. He wants to make decisions independently and not consult with anyone. Since he believes that he has long outgrown the age when it was necessary to blindly follow the advice and guidance of adults. However, the father and mother hold a completely different opinion. For them, their son, regardless of how old he is, will forever remain a little boy for whom they will worry.

The middle son, who is already 12 years old, also causes quite a few troubles. The boy is actively involved in sports and is an excellent football player. However, he has a truly rebellious character. For this reason, he is ready to conflict with his parents. Of course, such behavior of their offspring greatly upsets them. After all, until now they were sure that they did not need to try to limit their children in any way. In the past, such problems did not arise at all. But now everything has changed. And the spouses need to come up with a way to take control of their son's rebellious character. Otherwise, they will not be able to return to a normal life. And this does not suit them at all.

But the couple's problems do not end there. Between Maria and Alexander, more and more quarrels arise. They look at the situation differently. Moreover, each wants to act as they see fit. And this becomes the reason for the rapid deterioration of their relationship. They have to think not only about how to take control of the children but also about how to save their own marriage.
Main characters

Alexander – the head of the family, who tries to do everything possible to make his loved ones happy. However, lately he has not been able to do this very often.
Maria – Sasha's wife. She is the keeper of the hearth and a caring mother who genuinely worries about her children.
Timofey – the young man has graduated from school and wanted to choose his own life path. Therefore, he had a conflict with his parents.
Ilya – an active teenager who is seriously interested in playing football. He can be called a true rebel.
Maxim – the youngest child, who always strives for knowledge, but sometimes this becomes a real problem.
