Americans

Americans is a crime drama that describes the life of agents trying to find a balance between human emotions and their duty to their country. Fans of intricate detective stories with action elements are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the series Americans Season 7, the release date of which has not been set, as the creators have announced the completion of the project.
Plot of the series
The series depicts the life of an ordinary American family, where loving spouses tenderly cherish their love. However, this picture can only be formed at first glance, as in reality, the husband and wife are secret KGB agents who have settled in America on a special intelligence mission. They carefully adhere to their legend of an ideal family, as their fate depends on it.

Nadia and Mikhail find it very difficult not to immerse themselves in their roles, as they must adhere to them for most of their lives. And before they know it, they realize that they have become spouses not only fictitiously but also in reality, as they have developed feelings for each other. Their situation is exacerbated by the fact that a CIA agent settles near their "family nest," and now they are closer than ever to being exposed.
Over the course of 6 seasons, this couple has two children whom they must protect and care for. The spouses must be extremely cautious, as if the American special services learn about their mission, they will surely deal with the agents, leaving their children orphans in a foreign country. Nadia and Misha try to get their affairs in order, as too much depends on it.
Main characters

Nadia is a Soviet intelligence officer who was sent to Washington to gather secret data needed by the KGB. The woman must play the role of a native American, Elizabeth. As the plot develops, Nadia begins a romance with her partner and becomes the mother of two children, whom she must now protect, as illegal agents face serious danger in case of exposure.
Mikhail is a secret agent who, along with Nadia, arrived in America to carry out an intelligence mission. He tries in every way to shield his family from trouble, as initially, his marriage to Nadia was fictitious. In the USA, he is called Philip.
Paige and Henry are the children of the secret agents, born to Nadia and Mikhail.

The creators report that they do not plan to shoot a continuation of this television series because, at the end of Season 6, all plot lines received their logical resolution. The screenwriters understand that it makes no sense to come up with anything new, as practice shows that nothing good comes of it.
