Colony

Colony is a science fiction series that addresses issues that exist to some extent in our modern world. Fans of the dystopian genre have long awaited the continuation of Colony Season 4, the release date of which will not be announced, as the television series has been canceled.

Series Plot
The plot of this television series describes events in the distant future of our planet, which cannot be called happy. People live in cities surrounded by high, impenetrable walls.

Only those with special passes can cross these borders. The residents of the megacities are isolated and therefore forced to endure all the oppression from the authorities. The standard of living for ordinary citizens is very low, however, attempts to organize uprisings have always been unsuccessful, as the city dwellers lack weapons and the ability to organize into a large group. All who have ever tried to stand against the current authorities are sent to a colony, where they must spend the rest of their lives away from family and loved ones.

In previous seasons, we had the opportunity to observe the life of an ordinary family that found itself in a very difficult situation. The head of the family is Will – a former intelligence officer who has now left that position to care for his family. He has a wife and two children: Charlie and Grace. However, one day, military personnel burst into their home and take their son without explanation. The parents are in despair, and Will decides to return to government service. The man does not share the government's views but thinks that this will help him understand the situation and bring his son home.

It is hard to say what to expect from the continuation of this television series, as its creators have worked hard to make the plot intricate and full of unexpected twists. Will is the main character who is searching for his missing son. Will tried to escape beyond the wall to find his child, but the escape was intercepted by the authorities, who recruited the brave man into their service in exchange for his freedom. The man pretends to serve the government and the city leader, but in his mind, he has only one goal: to bring his son home. For this, Will is willing to do anything and even betray his principles if required by the leadership.
Katie is Will's wife and the mother of their children. She struggles greatly with the abduction of her son and makes her own unsuccessful attempts to find him. Due to troubles in the Bowman family, there is a rift, and the woman tries with all her might to restore the lost understanding as much as possible.
Grace is Will and Katie's daughter. The girl has suffered psychological trauma due to her brother's abduction, with whom she was very close. Grace also suffers from her parents' frequent quarrels.
Charlie is the abducted son of the main character, whose fate is unknown.
