Plot of the series
Ed was a completely happy man. He had a beloved job, a wonderful wife whom he valued and respected. It seemed that his life would always be so perfect and happy. However, everything comes to an end sooner or later. When the man learned of the management's intention to lay him off, he almost fell into depression. He could not imagine life without flying in spaceships. That is why his dismissal scared him so much. And although the man tried to convince his boss to abandon this idea, he simply could not be persuaded. Therefore, the hero had to come to terms with such injustice.

His only support during this difficult time was his beloved wife. The woman truly did everything possible to ensure that her husband did not feel like a worthless person. She even planned to use her connections to find him a new job. However, she simply did not have time to implement her plans. Because Ed caught her in the arms of her lover. Indeed, for quite a long time, the beauty had been entertaining herself on the side and did everything to ensure that her chosen one did not find out about it. After all, she understood that such a thing would hurt him deeply. But she herself desperately needed someone who would understand and support her. And since the hero was unable to do this, she found solace in the arms of an alien.

Of course, this was a blow to the hero. He could never have imagined that his beloved would cheat on him with some Martian. It hurt him, and the man decided to file for divorce. He simply saw no point in continuing these toxic relationships. Since the betrayal was for him a confirmation that people were already tired of each other and needed a break. Moreover, he found himself unable to overcome the hatred for the woman he had literally idolized. After all, she had betrayed him in the most shameless way.

At Ed's request, his longtime friend, who was a top-notch pilot, was included in the crew. They had flown together once, but later their life paths diverged. The man learned that his friend was in a difficult life situation, so he decided to help him. At the same time, he did not even suspect that he got this position not by happy coincidence. His ex-wife recommended him to the management. She was supposed to take the position of senior assistant on the spaceship. And he was not happy about it at all.

Kelly Grayson – the senior assistant on the ship. In the past, she was married to the hero. But after her betrayal, they parted ways.
Claire Finn – a doctor and a valuable employee of the center. The management wanted to send her to another spaceship, but the lady insisted on her own.
Gordon Malloy – Ed's best friend, with whom he has gone through many life trials.
