Mess After You

Viewers have long been accustomed to the international cast of Netflix series, especially since it has given us "Money Heist," "13 Reasons Why," "Elite," "Stranger Things," "Dark," and of course, "The Witcher." This list could go on for a while, but today we would like to focus on the Spanish series "Mess After You," for which many are still hoping for a continuation.

What is the series Mess After You about?
Literature teacher Raquel moves to Novariz with her husband Herman, who is from there. She gets a job at a school where a position has just opened up. The young teacher Viruka, who taught at the school before Raquel, was very loved by the students, but she took her own life. Of course, this news does not please the protagonist at all, but she is not going to back down.

Raquel's first day does not go well, as the students receive her not just coldly, but even hostilely. Moreover, she receives a message from an unknown sender with a frightening content, followed by a series of threats. The cherry on top for the protagonist is a meeting with the husband of her late predecessor, after which she seriously begins to wonder if Viruka really took her own life? Perhaps someone helped her?
Wanting to uncover the truth, Raquel embarks on her own investigation, during which she will face the skeletons in the closets of her students and some townspeople.

Raquel Valero – a literature teacher who came to Novariz to replace another teacher who recently took her own life. At her new place, she faces rejection from the students and a bunch of secrets that she will have to uncover. The role is played by Inma Cuesta ("Criminal: Spain," "Labyrinths of the Past," "Sheep Don't Miss the Train").
Elvira Ferreiro Martinez "Viruka" – Raquel's predecessor who took her own life. The role is played by Bárbara Lennie ("Sunday's Illness," "Like Family," "Death at Your Expense").
Herman Araujo – an aspiring writer, Raquel's husband. The role is played by Tamar Novas ("Murder in the Style of Goya," "Open Sea," "Ministry of Time").
Yago Nogueira – a teenager, a student at the school where Raquel teaches. He behaves rudely and provocatively. The role is played by Aron Piper ("Rodriguez and Others," "Game of Thrones," "15 Years and One Day").
