Netflix launched the American version of social deduction on March 26, 2025, where 12 participants live in a luxurious mansion by a lake in Canada, trying to figure out who among them is the secret millionaire. Host Peter Serafinowicz oversees the game from the "trophy room," where clues are revealed. The format consists of 8 episodes (the second season will be released on April 15, 2026), with each episode including challenges and an elimination ceremony. Unlike "The Traitors," here the millionaire performs tasks for advantages, while the others hunt for him using social traps. The participants are ordinary people with unusual professions: a police officer pretending to be a housewife, a 64-year-old professional poker player, a billionaire photographer. The atmosphere is "Rat Race" set in "The Bachelor," where bluffing is the only currency.
