School of Rock is a story about how a former musician came to work as a music teacher in an ordinary school and created a successful school band there. Fans of series about the fate of musicians are waiting for the continuation of the project School of Rock Season 4, the release date of which cannot be announced due to the fact that the filming of the series was halted because of its low ratings.
Plot of the series
The main character of this film is Dewey – a man who was once a popular rock performer but has now become an ordinary loser who has completely lost hope of changing anything in his life. He still has an endless love for rock and roll, but he doesn't know how to independently realize any musical project to make it successful.
One day he is invited to a local school to substitute for the music teacher for a while. For Dewey, this becomes a real test, as he feels very insecure and is not at all sure that he can make the willful schoolchildren listen to him. However, everything turns out very well, as the students are pleasantly surprised that their lessons are not the boring routine they have had all these years, but a real opportunity to create their own music group.
Dewey becomes very friendly with the kids from the school, whom he helps to gain faith in themselves and their abilities. The students also help the main character understand who he really is and what he can achieve. Subsequently, the former rock musician is invited to a permanent job at the school, and he stays to form his youth rock band. The kids are very enthusiastic about this idea and are determined to participate in the concert battle of bands.
Main characters
Dewey – a former rock star. Now the man is an ordinary loser who has realized that he has not been able to achieve anything in his life. He agrees to work as a music teacher in a middle school, after which his life changes dramatically, as now he has everything he dreamed of.
Tomika – a student at the school where Dewey teaches. The girl was inspired by stories about rock and roll and happily agreed to become a member of the school band. She is the lead singer and also plays the bass guitar.
Freddy – the drummer of the band. He has feelings for Summer, who ignores him and doesn't notice him at all. Freddy decides to start a romance with another girl so that the object of his affection will pay attention to him out of jealousy.
Lawrence – the keyboardist of the band. He is very diligent in his studies, is one of the best students in the school, and happily joins the band as he is looking for friends, of whom he has almost none.
Fans of this kind story had high hopes that the filming of the next season would still begin, but this was not meant to be. A year ago, the channel that produces this film project made an official statement that they do not plan to start filming a new season.
