Plot of the series
Andrei works in the police. He is quite well-known in the criminal world, as he is an incorruptible person. Many lawbreakers, who faced the threat of going to prison, tried to negotiate with the young man. They promised him golden mountains and a wonderful career in the authorities. Any other investigator would have gladly accepted such an enticing offer. Since it was well known how dire the situation was for the police. They received a pittance for their salary and barely made ends meet. But the hero believed that this was not a reason to start taking bribes.

He has a wife and daughter, for whom he is ready to do absolutely anything. However, only if it does not involve bribery. But even his wife was categorically against him compromising his honor by yielding to criminals. One day he is assigned to lead a case in which the accused is the notorious Sorokin. No one wanted to deal with this man, as everyone understood that he was extremely dangerous. But Andrei was not afraid. He managed to put him behind bars and breathed a sigh of relief, realizing that there was one less criminal in the world. He went with a clear conscience to celebrate his daughter's birthday.

The next morning, the man woke up in a cell. At first, he thought it was just someone's extremely unfortunate prank. He even tried to start protesting. However, he was quickly silenced by his colleagues and even sent to solitary confinement for a while to calm down. Later, the investigator explained to him that he had been under investigation for 4 months. The reason for the criminal case was the murder of two people. Moreover, according to the detective, the victims of Andrei were his own wife and daughter. This news truly shocked the man. Since he remembered nothing and refused to believe that he had actually harmed the people he loved more than life.

Main characters

Andrei Klimov – an operative with many years of experience. He becomes the accused. And he is being charged with the murder of his wife and child.
