Nikki and Andrew have been married for quite a few years and are used to supporting each other in any situation. The couple is raising two daughters, whose smiles are the most important thing for their parents. But the problem is that Marnie, the younger daughter of Nikki and Andrew, has been suffering from muscular dystrophy since childhood, which makes her almost unable to move independently.
However, despite all the difficulties and trials she has to go through, Marnie is a very bright and positive child. The parents go above and beyond to provide comfort for their daughter and invariably struggle with each hospital visit, which happens regularly.
But one day the family's life turned upside down – another infection turned out to be extremely serious for the girl, and the doctors honestly admitted to Nikki and Andrew that they were powerless. However, the parents are not ready to give up the fight for their daughter's life; they are willing to defend her right to live, no matter the cost.
