Main plot
Mikhail's talent is widely recognized. The man is indeed a skilled physicist who has always dreamed of being useful to his country. However, he often criticized the authorities. This caused certain concerns among those close to him. His beloved, in particular, was very worried, understanding that this could ultimately end very badly. After all, in the Soviet Union, power is a significant force that everyone dreams of obtaining.

But Misha was not like that. He was not interested in money or influence at all. Therefore, he spent all his free time in the laboratory conducting experiments. One day, the hero found himself involved in a conflict with a very influential person who sincerely hated him. The man categorically refused to bow his head before the powerful representatives of this world. This circumstance did not sit well with the people's commissar, who saw it as a serious threat.

Using his connections, the man ensured that Mikhail ended up in a labor camp. Of course, he was innocent of the crime he was hastily accused of. However, he could not prove his innocence because the commissar was putting serious pressure on the authorities. This was the reason he was forced to go to the labor camp. However, he has a friend who is infinitely loyal to him. Kirill is not willing to put up with what is happening. He takes certain risks to free his comrade. Fortunately, he managed to secure his release. But after his release, Mikhail's life could change for better or worse.

Mikhail was released from the labor camp. Now he has to work on a project that is classified as "top secret." He must work with other scientists on the development of the atomic bomb. Kirill recommended his candidacy, and Kurchatov approved it. This is why the man managed to avoid severe punishment. Consequently, he simply could not refuse to work.
He will be working with the best scientists of the Soviet Union. However, this prospect does not excite him at all. The reason for this is that among his fellow scientists is his former beloved.

When the man found himself free, he immediately got in touch with her. But it turned out that his beloved woman could not wait for him. She married another man. Therefore, Mikhail had to leave his dreams of uniting his life with hers in the past. However, personal problems will have to be put aside to complete the work.

Plotline of the second season
If a continuation is released, information about the plot of the new part will help ease the wait for the premiere for the project's fans. However, so far, the creators of the series have not decided to please the fans. They are still keeping the script for the new part a secret.

Main characters

Mikhail Rubinov – a talented scientist who has recently been released from a labor camp. He is now working on a secret project.
Kirill – the hero's best friend. He helped him get released from the labor camp. But to do this, he had to resort to trickery by offering his services to Kurchatov.
Anna – Rubinov's former fiancée. She married without waiting for her beloved. But now the lady is forced to work with him on the project.
