Long-running Russian series are a real rarity, as most are canceled after the first season. But this project is an exception to the rule. Viewers are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the release date of Chef Season 5. However, there is currently no reliable information, as the authors have not provided a specific date.
Plot of the series
Viktor works in the police. He is not just a professional who knows his job well, but also an honest person. It is well known that law enforcement officers often engage in bribery. Some explain this by the desire to survive. Since the salary of operational staff is too low, it is indeed difficult to support a family. But the hero has never agreed to make any concessions to those who offered him a bribe. And he was completely unconcerned about the fact that he had to live on one salary.

His wife knows how principled and honest Viktor is. And she supports him in everything. Many acquaintances sincerely do not understand her, as they believe she should think primarily about the well-being of their child. And to secure a better life for him, she needs to make her husband a bribe-taker. But she would never agree to such a thing. She also believes that a person should maintain their dignity, despite all the hardships of life. Especially if they work in law enforcement.

But one day, the hero makes a terrible mistake. While investigating another crime, he gets on the trail of the perpetrator. It turns out to be a city official. Possessing immense power and influence, he finds a way to evade punishment for the crime committed. But he becomes very angry that a mere investigator dared to challenge him. That is why he does everything to take revenge.

However, their hopes for peace are completely unfulfilled. The man is framed and accused of bribery. He fails to prove his innocence, so he is forced to go to prison. He serves a year and a half, becomes closely acquainted with Karpatov, who also used to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and is released. None of his friends maintained contact with him, as he was considered a notorious scoundrel. But now he hoped that all troubles would end. Only it was not so.
Main characters

Viktor Rastorguev – a policeman who crosses paths with an official, who then sets out to destroy him. To escape the wrath of the influential man, he leaves the capital with his family. But even in another city, he is found. The man goes to prison and, upon release, is forced to leave his previous job and become a taxi driver.
Darya – the hero's wife, who sincerely continues to believe in her husband's innocence. She knows that he was accused of a crime he did not commit.
Maxim Tikhomirov – a criminal authority who intends to do everything to remove Viktor from his path.

All four seasons were filmed with the participation of director Oleg Larin. His partners were Anatoly Artemonov and Armen Nazikyan.
