Plotline of the series
By chance, Mikhail Kovalev becomes the coach of the women's basketball team of the pedagogical institute. He is not thrilled about the new appointment. Kovalev will have to put aside his pride. And start looking for an approach to the new team. This is not easy. Each of the girls has their own problems and complexes. And their preparation leaves much to be desired. After all, they were coached by Alexey. And he is no coach at all. The vice-rector of the institute, Irina, also puts sticks in the wheels. She doesn't like that the institute spends resources and time on developing sports achievements. She wants to take the rector's position. And develop computer technologies.
But Kovalev decides to see it through to the end. His mother, Valentina Pavlovna, promises to help him return to Moscow. But only if the institute's team wins the friendly match. Mikhail pulls himself together. And begins to look for a special approach to each team member. Soon the girls gather and decide to win at all costs.

For this, regular training is needed. And also a sports diet. And the will to win. The girls try to prove to Kovalev that the women's team can be strong. Especially, Lelya, who has fallen in love with her coach, tries hard. A match is ahead. But Mikhail almost ruins everything. Despite this, the team wins.

The director of the second season is Fedor Stukov. He also directed all seasons of "Physical Education Teacher," Season 4 of the series "Ivanovs-Ivanovs." Stukov replaced Sergey Sentsov, who worked on the first season.
