Main plot
Vera works at a clinic and is a talented cardiac surgeon. She has performed over a thousand successful surgeries. And therefore, legends about her circulate in the clinic. She is considered the most promising specialist in the country. However, after getting married, the heroine suddenly lost interest in her career. The reason was her desire to fully dedicate herself to her family. The heroine's chosen one also worked at the clinic. Andrey was considered a promising neurosurgeon, who strove more each day to improve his own skills. And his loving wife supported him in everything. Since she sincerely believed that she had found her happiness and no longer needed to work at the clinic. Moreover, she did not like that many colleagues constantly compared Andrey to her. She believed that her husband was in danger and genuinely worried about him.

Being completely shattered and not realizing how to live on, the heroine decides to return to work for starters. She not only needs to distract herself but also to earn money. After all, the bills for the apartment continue to come. At the clinic where she previously worked, the management has already changed. And the new director is not in a hurry to agree to hire Vera. Of course, she was a sought-after specialist before. But the long break did not work in her favor, as such "gaps" in her profession are quite dangerous, since there are no guarantees that the doctor will not lose her skills. Moreover, another doctor is vying for the vacant position. And that doctor is Andrey's first wife.

Plotline of the second season
Vera works at the clinic, but not in the position she hoped to get. However, she tries not to lose hope that one day she will achieve her former success. It's just that competing with other doctors is really difficult for her.
