Description

All episodes were released on BBC iPlayer on February 14, 2022 — this is a spin-off of the British series "Get Even," based on the book series by Gretchen McNeil. Three cheerleaders from Bannerman Private School — Grace, Clara, and Rumi — revive the secret club DGM (Don't Get Mad) to combat bullying and harassment. The plot begins with an incident at a competition: Clara's sister, Leila, faints after being poisoned, and the girls start an investigation, hiding behind the masks of anonymous avengers. The tone is a light teen thriller with elements of detective work: bright cheerleading uniforms contrast with the dark secrets of the school, and investigations are conducted through hacking tricks and hiding in school corridors. The short episode format (26 minutes) is perfect for a binge-watch in one evening. Comparable to "Elite" and "Pretty Little Liars," but without sexual intrigue — the focus here is on teenage solidarity and anti-bullying initiatives.
