Meanwhile, genre fans are wondering whether Goryunov season 2 will be announced, the release date, or if the project will be canceled.

Plot of the series
Pavel is a military man. He serves in the Northern Fleet. He has long clearly defined his profession for himself. And he had no doubts at all about who he should become in the future. The man understood that the ocean was his element. For this reason, he decided to become a long-distance sailor who would test nuclear submarines. However, it was not immediately possible to turn his dream into reality. But this did not sadden the man at all. After all, he understood perfectly well that one cannot achieve all heights in a single day.

His patience and effort were rewarded. Over time, the young man indeed managed to obtain his dream position. He was appointed captain of a nuclear submarine. The management set a clear goal for him. The hero was to conduct a test of a cruise missile. And he saw nothing complicated in the task at hand. Perhaps this is why he neglected certain safety measures and did not even attempt to prepare for the tests. He thought that no difficulties would arise in the process.

However, the young man was simply mistaken. And for this mistake, he was to pay dearly. Since the tests were a failure, the management was furious. Attention to this project was heightened. As were the expectations from the higher management. Consequently, the man undermined not only his own authority but also that of the entire fleet. No one intended to forgive him for the blunder. Everyone understood perfectly well that this was solely the captain's fault. He had every chance to emerge victorious from this battle. But he decided that it was better to neglect all the rules. And now no one wanted to extend a helping hand to him.

Among the captains, it was quite well known. The best sea wolves considered that service on this ship was a real exile. Therefore, no one envied Goryunov. Moreover, everyone understood that he would have to work with a far from the best crew. He would be in charge of people who did not want any adventures at all. They were used to a quiet life and had no intention of changing it. Furthermore, the man would have to engage in a confrontation with his immediate superior. The ship needed urgent repairs, but he refused to allocate funds. Consequently, only Goryunov could solve this problem.

Main characters
Pavel Goryunov – was previously a division commander but was demoted. Now he must serve his punishment on an old ship.
Maria Kalinina – works as a nurse. She is a very kind and responsive woman who is always ready to provide necessary help.
Alexander Petrovsky – is Maria's husband and heads the medical service of the submarine.
Polina Goryunova – the hero's wife. She always faithfully waits for her beloved's return and sincerely worries about him.
Sergey Gudinov – heads the chemical service. He is a responsible and diligent person.
Olga – Sergey’s wife, who has a heightened sense of justice.
