Nina Pokrovskaya followed in her father's footsteps when choosing her profession, Colonel of Police Vladimir Semyonovich Sazonov. He served in the police of his hometown and is now retired. After graduating from university, Nina also worked as an investigator and married her colleague Ivan. Now her husband holds a high position in the investigative department. But after that, Nina decided to quit her job and focus on home, family, and raising her son Artem. In her free time, Nina loves to take photographs.

One day, Ivan leaves for another business trip, and Nina goes for a walk around the city in search of good shots. She sees her husband in the camera lens with another woman. Analyzing the situation, she realizes that this has been happening for a long time, and she simply didn't notice or didn't want to notice the changes in her husband. Nina does not intend to forgive the betrayal. She tells her husband that she wants a divorce. Ivan does not want to listen to her.
