In the Dark

This television series is a new addition to cinema. It has been eagerly awaited by many fans of the drama genre. Additionally, the film also includes elements of a detective story. Therefore, it can be confidently said that viewers are in for quite an interesting surprise. Moreover, the plot of the film In the Dark Season 2, the release date of which is known, is striking.
Plot of the series
The main character has a terrible personality and suffers from alcohol addiction, which she diligently denies. Those around her consider her a spoiled girl who is simply wasting her life and does not care about the future at all. But for her, the future simply does not exist. At least, that is what the girl believes. When she was very young, she got into an accident. As a result of the injuries sustained, she completely lost her sight. Despite the doctors' efforts, they were unable to restore the beauty's ability to see. It turned out that the injuries were too severe and could not be repaired.

Such news sounded like a sentence to her. For Murphy realized that she would have to spend the rest of her life in complete darkness. Naturally, at first, her relatives tried to help her adapt to the difficult situation. But seeing that their attempts were unsuccessful, they simply stopped helping her, citing the banal unwillingness of the lady to change anything in her life. In reality, they did not understand what this unfortunate girl was feeling at that moment. And therefore, it was difficult for them to find the key to her heart.
Realizing that her loved ones could not help her, the heroine decided to distance herself from them. And to do this in the literal sense. One day she simply packed her things and moved to another city where no one knew her. Since she was very limited in finances, she could not afford to rent an apartment. Instead, she decided to rent just one room. Her roommate turned out to be a very nice girl who was able to understand what Murphy was feeling. Thanks to this, they became true friends who shared their problems.
Main characters

Murphy – a girl who lost her sight at a young age. Wanting to escape her emotional suffering, she starts drinking alcohol. She becomes a witness to a murder, but no one believes her since the body of the murdered person was never found. To prove her innocence and take revenge for her friend's death, she becomes a detective.
Dean – works in the police. He is familiar with the case materials and knows that it was Murphy who reported her friend's death. The only one who believes her, as he himself is raising a blind daughter.
Jess – lives in the same apartment as the heroine. She managed to reach the heart of the beauty and become a reliable support and help for her.
Tyson – to provide for his family, he is forced to become a dealer. He was killed by a mysterious person who managed to cover up all traces of the crime.
