S. W. A. T.: City of Angels

Viewers who are fans of stories about the everyday lives of special forces have rated the series quite highly. That is why few have doubts that the project will be canceled. Most likely, the creators will announce when the release date of S.W.A.T.: City of Angels Season 3 will be, but this will happen later.
Plot of the series
Daniel has been serving in the Marine Corps for quite some time. He has never denied the fact that he strives to protect ordinary people who suffer from lawlessness. He made his choice regarding his profession back in his youth. At that time, he clearly decided that he would never hide in the rear but would fight on the front lines. For this reason, he preferred to enlist in the Marine Corps. He did not see any other purpose for himself. However, the leadership thought otherwise. The chief had his own plans for the hero.

During the missions assigned to him, the guy proved himself very well. It became obvious that he is a great strategist. In other words, he never blindly followed orders but tried to understand how to act in each situation. Of course, such independence did not always please the higher-ups. After all, generals tended to believe that the ideal soldier is one who follows orders without question. Ultimately, every soldier is a tool, and he must obey orders.
Daniel categorically disagreed with this statement. For this reason, he later decided to leave the service. However, he could not completely step away from the job. Soon it became known that the chief intended to offer him to head a new department. This was an elite special forces unit that was the stuff of legends. It was rumored that only top-level specialists could be accepted there, and others shouldn't even try. This was the absolute truth. The leadership indeed set a clear goal to gather only the best fighters in this department. Since they were to work in very challenging conditions. Any weakness could lead to complete failure or even death.
Main characters

Daniel Harrelson – born and raised in Los Angeles. Previously served in the Navy. But later received a promotion. He was tasked with leading a new elite squad. And the man gladly began to fulfill his direct duties.
Jessica Cortez – believes that it is necessary to change citizens' attitudes towards the local police for more fruitful cooperation. Previously had a relationship with the hero, but later the couple decided to part ways.
Jim Street – did not perceive his transfer to another department with the enthusiasm that was expected.
Christina Alonso – the first female representative to successfully get a job in the special forces. Previously worked as a dog handler.
Dominic Luca – his father and grandfather were also special forces, so he decided to continue the tradition.

The project is a remake of the film "S.W.A.T.," which was released back in 1975.
