Superheroes in American comics appeared alongside the comics themselves. In 1938, a character made his debut, with Superman being shown for the first time in DC Comics. Since then, a huge number of masked heroes, costumed crime fighters, and their equally numerous opponents, often stronger, more cunning, and more experienced, have been created and introduced. What is the series Stargirl about?
Still, we cannot always achieve justice in the world; sometimes crime prevails over legality and order. The cunning plans of villains sometimes work, as happened in the Justice League, destroying the very concept of opposing the Injustice League for a long ten years. Then, after the attack of supervillains on superheroes, Pat Dugan, a famous mechanic who created his own suit, arrived only to see his dying friend, Starman. The latter passed his staff to him, knowing he could be relied upon, and that he would certainly keep the mighty artifact safe.
After a decade, much has happened. Dugan tried to find the attacking villains but to no avail. However, the threads he did discover led him to Blue Valley, where he met Barbara, the widow of Sylvester Pemberton. The couple took a liking to each other, and soon this blossomed into a wedding. Now Pat raises his friend's daughter as his own child, allowing her to live a full life.
Unfortunately, the peaceful pause has ended. Courtney has found her father's staff. Now the young girl must recreate the Justice League, showing future superheroes courage, bravery, justice, and the protection of legality by her example. A tremendous power, and an even greater responsibility, has fallen on her fragile shoulders, but there is no choice, as someone must do it.

Stargirl Season 4 – who is who?
Courtney Whitmore
– the daughter of Starman, who discovered her father's staff with her stepfather, who turned out to be a long-time partner and friend of her father. – the mother of the main character and the wife of Pat Dugan. She strives to balance work and home life, rightly believing that children need a normal childhood. The role is played by Amy Smart.
Pat Dugan
– formerly Starman's sidekick, a brilliant mechanic who created his own exosuit. Despite his abilities, family is much more important to him than all these confrontations, which is partly why he became a mentor for the newly formed League.
