Stitchers

Stitchers is a story about a girl who, due to a series of circumstances, participated in a dangerous experiment that was supposed to be a breakthrough not only in science but also in forensics. Science fiction fans hold out hope for the renewal of Stitchers Season 4, the release date of which cannot be announced because the series has been canceled.
Series Plot
The main character of this TV series is a girl who studies at a very prestigious academy and is the favorite of all her teachers. All her acquaintances, relatives, friends, and classmates predict a great future for her, as Kirsten truly has talent.

However, the girl has absolutely no confidence that she is on the right path, and that it will ultimately bring her happiness and self-fulfillment. In general, the girl is indecisive in life, and despite the support of her family, she feels different from everyone else. As it will turn out later, such emotional lability and instability are manifestations of a rare psychiatric disorder.
Kirsten is on the verge of graduating from her educational institution and is making plans for the future, but at one moment, her entire life changes dramatically. She is informed that a very close person to her has died. She is shattered and overwhelmed with grief, so she doesn't even realize what is happening at the moment when a police squad bursts into her home with a warrant for her arrest. It soon becomes clear that she is accused of murdering the person she was mourning. Kirsten understands that this is some kind of mistake, as she did not commit this act, and she waits for law enforcement to sort everything out and release her. However, this does not happen, and on the contrary, the investigation finds irrefutable evidence of her guilt. The young girl faces imprisonment, but representatives of the special services come to her, who, in exchange for her exoneration in the eyes of the court, ask her to participate in a scientific experiment. The researchers want to connect the nervous systems of a living person and the deceased in order to extract memories of the moment of the murder. The girl, who is in a hopeless situation, agrees to participate in this experiment. Notably, the "receiving" person can only be someone with a very rare mental disorder related to the distortion of information perception.

Kirsten is a girl whose fate changed drastically at the moment she was accused of a terrible crime she had no connection to. To avoid an undeserved prison sentence, she agrees to cooperate with scientists who "stitch" her consciousness with the brains of those killed under mysterious circumstances and compel her to search for memories that could lead to the murderer.
Cameron is a neurologist who was part of the team conducting this experiment.
Maggie leads the team of researchers and is a tough and uncompromising leader who keeps each of her subordinates under total control.
