Description

The anime "The Old Man from the Village Becomes the Holy Sword" premiered on April 5, 2025, on TV Asahi.
Beril Gardinant is a humble swordsman from a remote village. In his youth, he dreamed of becoming the greatest master of the blade, but he did not achieve fame and quietly taught a few students. One day, a former student visits him and declares, "Let's go to the capital." There, it turns out that almost all of his students have become outstanding knights, mages, and adventurers. Beril is appointed as a special instructor of the Order and is called the Holy Sword. Now he must understand if he lives up to his new title.
A cozy yet dynamic fantasy with a focus on mentorship and the "underestimated old man."
