Pishcheblok

The series "Pishcheblok," which premiered in May of this year, has stirred quite a debate among viewers. Some liked the plot. Adherents of Soviet ideology deemed the combination of pioneer and vampire themes unsuccessful. The series is based on the novel by A. Ivanov. Could it get a continuation — Pishcheblok Season 2?

Description of Season 1 episodes

The events unfold in an ordinary pioneer camp of the 80s. "Burevestnik" is located on the Volga. It has everything, just like everywhere else. Buildings for pioneers, rooms for counselors, a club. Daily formations, line-ups, flag raising, meals in the cafeteria. And at the end of the shift, a farewell bonfire.

Valera Lagunov has recently lost his older brother. The boy is still grieving this tragedy. To distract their son, his parents send him to a pioneer camp. No one suspects what he will have to face there. The pioneers settle into the buildings. The boys bully Valera, but the quick-witted boy Leva Khlopov takes him under his protection. Soon, however, Leva goes missing at night. The entire camp rushes to search for him. He is found in the woods. The boy explains nothing. But he has changed. And Valera realizes this when he witnesses him drinking blood from another boy.

And this is not the only case. Soon Valera understands that many pioneers are vampires. He shares his suspicions with the counselor Igor Karpukhin. He has already encountered vampires himself. He spent the night with Veronika, the counselor of another group. But then she changed abruptly. Her heart stopped beating. Lagunov advises Igor to somehow make it beat again so she remembers him. Meanwhile, Igor and Valera try to identify the stratilat. There are suspicions that it is Nyura, who works in the cafeteria. They devise a plan to lure her into a trap and kill her with a silver bullet. Civil war veteran Serp Ivanovich practically confirms their theory. He even helps carry out the plan.

Pishcheblok Season 2: brief summary

On the day of the farewell bonfire, there will be a full moon. It is on this day that the vampire must drink blood from the next victim, who will die after the ritual. She is to be Veronika. But she is so devoted to her master that she is glad to die for him. Igor manages to bring her back to reality with difficulty. And she helps lure Serp Ivanovich into the cafeteria. But everything goes awry. Valera has to resort to extreme measures. Serp is destroyed. But Valera himself has become the stratilat. And soon his vampire nature will reveal itself. What will happen then? We will find out in the series Pishcheblok Season 2. Its release date has not yet been set.
