WOWOW launched the unique isekai "The Bookworm's Power" in the fall of 2019, where the main character is not seeking adventures — she is seeking books in a world where they are almost non-existent. The premiere on October 2 introduces viewers to Yurano — a dying librarian who is reborn as a weak girl named Mine in a medieval fantasy world and decides to create the first library despite illnesses and social barriers.
